A hot air balloon ride over Wadi Rum offers an incredible bird's-eye view of the stunning desert landscape. From the balloon, you’ll be able to see expansive vistas and many of the most iconic features of Wadi Rum. Here’s a list of what you can expect to see:

1. Red Sand Dunes: The balloon provides a sweeping view of the vast, towering red sand dunes, including the ones you would climb during your jeep ride. The pattern and texture of the sand from above are mesmerizing.

2. Rock Formations & Canyons:

   • Anfashiyeh Inscriptions: These inscriptions on rocks may be visible from above, providing a unique perspective of the ancient markings from past travelers heading to Mecca.

   • Burdah Rock Bridge: The famous natural rock arch is one of the most iconic sites in Wadi Rum and can be seen in its full glory from the air.

   • Um Fruth Arch: Another natural rock formation, this arch is visible from above, giving you a sense of its size and placement within the surrounding landscape.

   • Wadak Rock Bridge: This is another natural rock arch that can be spotted from the air near Khazali Mountain, offering a panoramic view of the desert.

3. Canyons & Valleys:

   • Rakhabat Canyon: Known for its beauty and unique landscape, this canyon will be visible from above, with its winding, narrow paths cutting through the desert.

   • Barragh Canyon: From a hot air balloon, you'll get a great view of this otherworldly, rugged rock canyon.

   • Khazali Mountain: The nearby mountains and valleys that are part of the region’s famous rugged topography will be visible from above, along with rock bridges and natural formations.

4. The Great Wadi Rum Desert: The entire desert landscape stretches as far as the eye can see, with its unique combination of sand dunes, rock formations, canyons, and valleys.

5. Lawrence's House: While the hot air balloon might not offer a close-up view of Lawrence’s House itself, you will likely be able to see the surrounding area, which gives a good perspective on the settlement and the rugged terrain surrounding it.

6. Other Scenic Views:

   • You will have a spectacular view of the vast desert expanse, dotted with isolated Bedouin camps, rock structures, and small valleys.

   • The colors of the desert change dramatically depending on the time of day, especially during sunrise or sunset, which makes a balloon ride even more magical.
