MOHAMMED MUTLAK CAMP was born to offer visitors to the Wadi Rum Protected Area the experience of the most authentic Bedouin hospitality. Here every detail is taken care of with great attention: The location, the quality of the tents – chalets with attention to every detail, with insulation made of traditional and totally natural materials, electrical sockets, lighting, windows – and of the beds (worthy of a real hotel! ), the outdoor and indoor common areas, the great flexibility and availability of our team. Everything contributes to making a stay at the MMC a gratifying, surprising and unforgettable experience.
Camp Location
MOHAMMED MUTLAK CAMP stands out for its unique and unrepeatable position. Away from other Camps and tourist trails, our camp is nestled in unrivaled beauty. Wherever you look, at 360 degrees, you can enjoy an astonishing view at any time of the day. Sunrises and sunsets are topical and unmissable moments for all our guests.
We provide the transfer both ways by Jeep from the Wadi Rum Village. Guests can choose to get to the Camp either riding a Camel – it takes about 2 hours – or trekking with a Guide – a 3/4 hours wonderful experience. Same for the way back to the Village.
Common Areas
The common areas are the fulcrum around which everything happens. Both the large living-restaurant-tents and the outdoor area have been designed to encourage interaction and meeting between guests in a typically Bedouin atmosphere, where excellent tea is constantly served and where a large bivouac is always on. Musicians and exponents of local culture often take part, to cheer and involve our guests in memorable evenings.

Surrounded by rocks, far from any other human presence and light pollution, our Camp is the ideal place for stargazing.
We also provide bedding to whom among guests want to spend the nigh under a billion stars!
It is the most beautiful show mother Nature provides every and each night to all of us to enjoy, and it is totally free!

Food at MMC
Traditional Beduin Way of making Food
We offer all our meals in a buffet-style arrangement, ensuring there’s a satisfying option for every palate during mealtimes. We also make outstanding efforts to accommodate your dietary preferences within the constraints of the desert.
Breakfast presents an array of choices, including bread paired with various toppings like oil & za’atar, labneh, hummus, tomato, cucumber, olives, cheese, jam, and eggs. Refreshing beverages such as Bedouin tea, coffee, and bottled water are readily available.
Lunch typically comprises a freshly prepared hot dish like Galayah Bandura, served with bread. We also feature a selection of side dishes such as hummus, cheese, tuna, and salad. Beverages include bottled water, Bedouin tea, or soda and juice options.
Dinner is a treat for the taste buds as we serve freshly prepared traditional Bedouin dishes like Zarb, Khabsah, or Magloubah. These are accompanied by bread, rice, salads, and our homemade Moutabal. Post-dinner indulgence comes in the form of either sweets or fresh fruits. To accompany these delicious offerings, we provide bottled water, Bedouin tea, and a choice of soda or juice.
Lastly, please note that complimentary bottled water is available throughout your stay, without you needing to carry your own.
