Here you will meet one of our professional trekking guides.
Though our trekking guides are not all fluent in the English language, they all maintain a professional knowledge of the desert, its sites and their work.
Starting in Rum Village, the hike traverses the red sands of Wadi Rum valley and includes visits to the following sites of interest:
• Shalaleh Spring – a mountain spring overlooking Rum Village
• Lawrence Spring – a spring from whence Lawrence of Arabia is reputed to have drunk, also the site of ancient rock art – a typical stop for lunch, a rest and sweet Bedouin tea.
• Red Sand Dune area – make a stop to climb the sand dunes and run back down them!
• Khazali Canyon, explore the gorge in this sandstone mountain, site of ancient rock art dating to 300BC.
During the excursion we will provide a bivouac traditional lunch with Bedouin tea and coffee and some relax to end, at sunset time in an outdoor bivouac camp with dinner and tea, under a magnificent starry night. We will provide mattress and blankets to ensure you a comfy sleeping over the night.
Day 2:

Heading to the Protected Area’s Wilderness Zone to get to
Um Fruth rock bridge
It rises up some 15 m from the desert floor, it is one of the most photographed places in Wadi Rum.
Then our guide will find a good place to establish a Lunch Bivouac, cooked at the moment following the Bedouin tradition and served with our beautifully tasty tea.
After a brief resting our experience will take us to
Jebel Al Qattar
Unforgettable views from this beautiful mountain. We go down following the ridge to our camp, near to Jebel Al Qattar.
At our camp, you may hike around for enjoying the beautiful views and the sunset
Enjoy a good cup of Bedouin tea, waiting for our Traditional Bedouin Dinner.
After dinner we use to gather around the fire for socializing and staring at the wonderful night sky.
Frequently we host music performance and story telling…
